Software Development

Application and Software Developers are responsible for the design, development, and implementation of applications that enable MetLife to provide the best products and services to our internal and external customers.

Business Analysis

Business Systems Analysts liaise between the business and technical teams. Gather, review, analyze, and evaluate end-user needs as well as gather and develop functional requirements and functional design documentation. 

Project Management

Project Managers are responsible for the planning, monitoring, and overall execution of MetLife projects.

Data Science

Data Scientists work with internal business partners to deliver custom solutions to business problems. Outputs are based on business needs and include dashboards, text analysis, predictive models, and more. 

Network/Infrastructure Engineering

Infrastructure and Network Engineers design and deploy enterprise technical solutions and network architecture and provide support for the Enterprise utilizing structured troubleshooting tools and techniques.

Database Administration

Database Administrators are responsible for the task-oriented execution of procedures and practices to administer and support data, databases, and Extract, Transform & Load systems across MetLife’s platforms, technologies, and environments.

Recruitment Timeline 2020 – 2021
Timing is everything, so please see our below recruiting cycle to better understand our recruitment process:

MTU 2021 Internship and Professional Program applications go live February 22nd.


MetLife will be attending VIRTUAL campus events at schools including: Meredith, NC A&T, NC State, Penn State, UNC Chapel Hill, UNC Wilmington and many more. MTU Internship application deadline – March 11th. First round interviews will be conducted.


Final round interviews will be conducted in the month of April; Offers will be extended after final round interviews.
